JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
Interactive Designer will be solely focused on designing the front end of interactive experiences both from a conceptual and visual standpoint. Focusing on strategy, conceptual creative and addressing usability issues will be the fundamental goals of your design work. Your designs will be the embodiment of innovation and strategy and impart top- notch professionalism and convey the quality for our client’s world class brands. Candidate will work closely with copywriters, art directors and application development teams to be sure interactive designs are brought to life using proper technology and conceptual solutions. ***Note that this is not a programmer or developer’s position but rather a creative position for a graphic designer who is dedicated to interactive design. That being said knowledge of appropriate technologies will provide a solid foundation for the creation of your designs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with interactive teams to build architecture and wireframes
Design interactive experiences including but not limited to: Web sites, kiosks, interactive experiences, presentations, CDROM based experiences, mobile devices and banner advertising
Deliver quality work that exceeds expected creative and innovations for clients
Ability to storyboard and communicate design ideas for internal and external audiences

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

Strong 2-5 year background in interactive based screen design
Must have passion, design strength and a constantly expanding taste for knowledge of interactive media
Fundamental knowledge/understanding of HTML, Flash languages
Strong collaborative work ethic and the ability to help lead and deliver creative concepts
Adobe CS3 Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, Apple Keynote, PowerPoint
Strong understanding of Flash, After Effects, Video Editing Technologies (Final Cut/Premiere) are a plus
3D animation skills a plus
