Mechanical AutoCAd Inventor Designer and DrafterCincinnati, OH
Dear Sirs:
On December 16, 2007, I graduated from ITT-Tech with an Associate of Science degree in Computer Drafting and Design. I am searching for an Entry-Level Position where I can employ what I have learned.
Prior to my educational experiences at ITT-Tech, I served as Assistant Master Carpenter at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. There, in addition to constructing key set pieces, I prepared manual working drawings for my shop crew. At ITT-Tech, I learned how to have a computer to do what I did with a pen, paper and drafting tools, with infinitely greater accuracy. I have found that working with mechanical elements, plus the accuracy computerized systems can give, makes working with 3D models and creating working drawings a pleasure. I have a letter of recommendation from a member of the ITT-Tech faculty as part of my Employment Portfolio.
At ITT-Tech, Norwood, I was trained on AutoCAD 2006, Autodesk Architectural Desktop and Autodesk Inventor 10. I’m currently learning SolidWorks on my own and getting more proficient with it all the time. I plan to try to learn Unigraphics and ProE next.
If any of the above qualifications or those in my accompanying resume would fill the staffing need your company has for a Mechanical AutoCAd Inventor Designer and Drafter, I would be glad to meet with you at your convenience. I can be reached at (513) 309-0651 or this email address. I look forward to having the opportunity to meet with you. Thank you for your time and consideration. With great enthusiasm,
P. Alan Ropp
