Open House - Cincinnati - OPENING

We realize you receive a number of requests for assistance or donations throughout the year and we know it is difficult to satisfy all those requests. But all we ask is that you take a moment to read about Refuge Coffee Bar and its mission and prayerfully consider supporting us.

We started Refuge Coffee Bar with a completely different business model than we had ever seen. It was to become a self sustaining business with biblical ministry in mind. The profits would not line someone's pockets or provide investors with dividends. Its sole purpose is to generate funds to give away and bless others in need.

To date we have given hundreds of dollars away in free food, drinks and gift certificates.

There are many stories we could tell you that would tug at your heart: Stories of high school kids literally finding “refuge" from other kids threatening to hurt them after school, overwhelmed mothers who find real support to go with the coffee they ordered, a smile for someone the rest of the world overlooks, a safe place for those in recovery to resist temptation. It truly has become a “refuge” for so many.

The reason for this letter however is for support: volunteering and financial. So, if you have spare time and a heart for others, please consider joining us Sunday, April 29th from 1 until 5 pm to see how you can help.

If you cannot make it, please consider supporting us with a tax deductible donation. A monthly pledge or a one-time gift would help us extend what we can do for the West side of Cincinnati.

At a minimum we ask that you stop in for a good cup of coffee, food and live entertainment (mostly on weekend nights). We are located at 5010 Glenway Ave, Cincinnati, ohio, on the corner of Glenway and Ferguson.
