About Christine:

My name is Christine; I graduated from Xavier University in 2009 with a BA in Liberal Arts with Business Management classes. I was born and raised in West Africa, and studied in the united states. I have traveled to many countries outside of my native home; Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Spain and Belgium.

I currently work at a local private College in the Cincinnati Area. At this College, I teach Anatomy, Pathophysiology, Hospital Billing and Reimbursement, General Studies, Coding for Reimbursement in the Hospital setting. I also have experience in teaching Legal and Ethical Issues in Health Care, along with building Electronic Health Record.

For the last 24 years, I have worked and trained in all aspects of Health Information and the Clinical side of Medical Assisting, along with the Sciences. I have trained high school teachers in my native land about the different Learning Styles and how to use these learning styles in the classroom. I enjoy helping my students reach their Aha moment, when they realize they finally get it. One of the most important career milestones is having over 90% of my students sitting and passing their Certification Exams in our field. I believe that people learn differently and this is implemented in my classroom. I coach students on understanding, and using their particular learning style to get the maximum benefit from their education. I have tutored students for three years in the private sector.

I am patient,compassionate and caring teacher, that former and present students can attest to. I also believe that education is a life long learning process. I believe that I bring years of experience, cultural diversity, training and knowledge to every student who comes across my path.
