Dimension & Scope:

The Principal Domain Expert is responsible for analyzing and reengineering clients’ HR processes procedures policies organization and technology in support of HR Management sales efforts and clients’ business transformation activities and/or service delivery initiatives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•Assist in the identification and assessment of current client HR environment: Identify and analyze user requirements, including existing processes (and gaps), work flows, applications/systems, architectures, interfaces, policies, organizational relationships, client needs, technical possibilities, sources of data (input and output), and the events that trigger or result from functions.
•Analyze problems/opportunity including end-to-end root cause analysis of client problems; plan and prescribe subsequent short- and long-term courses of action, including best processes and technologies to support the client’s strategic goals and/or transformation initiatives.
•Identify feasible alternative solutions for the problem/opportunity, perform a cost/benefit analysis for each alternative, and recommend the best solution(s); recommend innovative and strategic solutions (immediate and future).Build, lead and sustain cross-functional teams focused on common goals and objectives in support of a specific client project.
•Implement solutions with client, working with Convergys Project Management Office: plan, prepare, and facilitate change management throughout client organizations through completion of project.
•Establish performance requirements/metrics (client satisfaction, service levels, budget, etc.).In conjunction with Marketing, gather/understand industry trends, best practices, and benchmarking, and utilize for process improvement recommendations.
•The process reengineering work will include both short-term Rapid Assessments and longer-term (e.g., six month) initiatives, and will involve liaising with Operations, subject matter experts, Training, PMO, Sales, and IT.

Education & Professional Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university with ten or more years related experience;
Or
Equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.

Candidate Profile:

•At least ten years of experience in industry and work with Fortune 500 corporations, preferably in a consulting capacity. Excellent client interaction / communications skills.
•Strategic business analysis and process analysis expertise, particularly in the areas of HR processes, data requirements, workflows, and systems.
•Client-focused and results-driven.
•Outstanding executive presence.
•Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
•Must be innovative, competitive, flexible, and collaborative.
•High degree of integrity.
•Motivated to strive for innovative solutions development.
•Experience with Web / Portals / PeopleSoft/ SAP / Call Centers.
•Must have proficiency with various software applications including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel
