Security Engineer – Cincinnati

GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:

Trasys, Inc. has immediate, exciting opportunities for Security Engineers in Cincinnati, OH, providing after hours support.

Our growing client is building out a team of Security Engineers in order to provide 24 x 7 operational coverage.
These opportunities afford the successful candidates to join a new team providing best-in-class technical and operational support for a global manufacturing customer in the Cincinnati area.
Must be available to work night and weekend shifts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the primary contact for security related incidents.
Investigate network, server, and client issues as necessary.
Assist end users and other operations teams in malware clean up activity.
Follow incident escalation procedures as required.
Provide coverage for the call center after hours including quick and consistent call handling for any and all calls into the Security Operations Center.
Represent information security on all high priority conference calls taking place after hours.
Maintain and troubleshoot Tipping Point IPS infrastructure as needed.
Perform change management duties for the infrastructure as requested.
Provide routine firewall and web proxy change approvals following documented procedures.
