Dimension & Scope:
This position is responsible for managing the development of compelling responses to RFIs and less complex RFPs, as well as development of associated presentations. The Proposal Management Specialist utilizes Convergys tools and standard content to respond to RFI/RFP questions, working with sales, subject matter experts (SMEs) and functional groups to understand, as applicable, overall pursuit strategy, client needs and solution components. The incumbent also performs resource management activities for qualified opportunities requiring GSSO support.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Proposal Management:
?Read and interpret RFI/RFP requirements in a high volume/tight timeline environment
?Assess the needs and parameters of the deliverable
?Ensure compliance with all RFI/RFP instructions and requirements
?Work with Sales to identify the strategy for the deliverable, as applicable, including messaging, key themes, case studies, references, and internal and external resources needed
?Develop timeline for response and communicate to sales pursuit team; coordinate deliverable input from all resources and edit to ensure a consistent voice
?Utilize Convergys tools and standard content to develop compelling and concise client deliverables (proposals and presentations), applying knowledge of Convergys’ value proposition, services, solutions, experience and capabilities
?Develop custom proposal text as applicable
?Ensure consistency with Convergys’ brand guidelines
?Manage the delivery of client opportunities to Sales to meet client deadlines
?Support the development of standard proposal content, templates and support materials
?Support continuous improvement of opportunity management process to enhance GSSO’s ability to deliver better messaging

Resource Management:
?Monitor and respond to requests from sales/solutioners for GSSO support of qualified opportunities
?Ensure compliance with GSSO’s intake process
?Gather required strategy and themeing information from sales to support concise, compelling proposals
?Evaluate proposal manager capacity and assign proposal management resources in accordance with GSSO’s process
?Track monthly opportunity statistics and trends; prepare monthly reports to leadership
