Travel Program Manager – Cincinnati

Dimension & Scope:

The Travel Program Manager is responsible for the Management of the corporate travel program and related travel vendor/supplier expenses for Convergys’ US operations; with supporting services for all Company-global locations.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Program Administration –
•Responsible to support and help resolve day-to-day customer service issues of Company travelers.
•Responsible to monitor day-to-day services of designated travel vendors providing travel reservation, planning and ticketing services to Company Travelers.
•Support internal acct/fin personnel to resolve travel vendor payment and travel expense management issues,
•Work in collaboration with Corporate Compliance to define and administer Company travel policies.
•Work in collaboration with Corporate Security to administer and support risk management areas for the travel program (compliance, traveler safety/security and contingency planning)
•Collaborate and support counterparts in the following global locations: India, EMEA, Singapore, and the Philippines and explore global process efficiencies. Analyst
•Analyze data from disparate data sources, including organization, interpretation and formatting of key reporting metrics.
•Package and report internal performance metrics to Sr. Management.
•Perform monthly reconciliations and spot audits of travel vendor statements.

Supplier/Vendor Spend Management -
Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university.
•Lead day-to-day company contact for all travel vendor and supplier service issues.
•Monitor pricing and other deliverable requirements for all contracted vendors and suppliers
•Research and meet with existing and competing vendors and suppliers to explore new products, services and pricing opportunities for Convergys.
•Collaborate with international Company counterparts to explore global synergies with all vendor and supplier services and pricing.
•Lead team member for all new and renewal contract negotiations and supplier/vendor RFP projects.

Strategic Planning -
•Work with key departments and vendors to establish and execute strategic goals and business plans for the corporate travel program.
•Participate in national and international business travel memberships to stay abreast of best practices in industry.

Supervisory
•Supervise up to 2 people, one located in India
